Position Summary:

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the company?s financial reports, performing account reconciliations, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, compliance according to US GAAP principles; and monitoring the company?s financial wellness. Candidate should have excellent communication skills including verbal and written, MS Office suite experience, Quickbooks Enterprise, must be dependable, reliable, flexible, and a strong sense of problem solving with outstanding attention to detail. Candidate should have automotive OEM experience and comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment.


  • Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Be the main communication contact with external CPA firms both in the US and China.
  • Oversee the accounting operations of all consolidated entities, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures.
  • Process/post transactions into accounting systems and other bookkeeping duties.
  • Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable when applicable.
  • Perform periodic bank reconciliations and review bank statements.
  • Ensure that required payments are made on timely basis.
  • Maintain the charts of accounts.
  • Maintain a system of control over accounting transactions.
  • Issue timely and complete financial statements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report.
  • Benchmark the company?s performance/operation to identify best practices and recommendations.
  • Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics.
  • Manage the production of the annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Calculate variance from the budget and report significant issues to management.
  • Provide for a systems of management cost reports.
  • Provided financial analyses as needed, especially for capital investments, pricing decisions, contract negotiations.
  • Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.
  • Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements including US GAAP and tax filings.
  • Participate in transfer pricing engagements.
