Job Description: Position Summary: BBB Industries, LLC. is looking for a motivated technician to perform various HV battery tests, inspections, and assembly for our Phoenix, AZ battery and battery-cell remanufacturing group. The battery module and cell reclamation excellence is a critical component in any EV Battery Reman process. This role will immediately make highly impactful and meaningful contributions to our products and the team’s success. The work environment is demanding, fast-paced and incredibly exciting. The ideal candidate should be ready to push their limits as they lead a highly motivated and capable team to make unbelievable things into reality. Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the set-up, execution, and support of testing activities, as well as collaborating with engineers. They will also contribute to the validation and process development efforts by providing process feedback on validation and assembly processes. Executing various system and component level HV Battery tests by configuring batteries to test equipment and following defined battery testing procedures Inspecting battery components for product conformance Assembling and disassembling various battery components for inspection and test purposes Qualifications: 2-5+ years of practical laboratory experience, ideally including the testing and construction of EV Batteries (stationary storage experience is welcomed) An ideal candidate has experience in working in an R&D environment, learning new processes, establishing standard operating procedures, and maintaining equipment within the lab Experience with lab software including automation and data processing tools (MATLAB, Python, CANoe, CANalyzer etc.) able to handle, process, and summarize large and complex data sets. Strong knowledge of HV battery safety best practices WORK ENVIRONMENT: All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Adjust as necessary: Ability to travel up to 20% for new lab commissioning Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
