What You’ll Do Involve fuel cell stack and/or components (those mentioned above) design and development. Create new designs and modify existing designs for cost reduction, improvement of manufacturability, performance, durability, and/or quality. Create stack or component specifications, CAD models and drawings, and integration instruction. Develop stack assembling and testing instructions with the manufacturing team. Involve stack engineering activities such as design reviews, DVP&R, DFMEA, specification and manual development. Perform PEM Fuel Cell Stack and PEM Fuel Cell Stack component testing and root cause analysis of failures. Partner with fuel cell component suppliers for design, and specific component selection and validation. Benchmark industry-wide fuel cell stack and/or component design concepts and products. Qualifications To Be Successful Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated and works collaboratively to complete technical analysis, executive on critical timelines, and problem solving. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Nice To Have Master or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. Experience with analytical methods and/or experimental characterizations of fuel cell stack or components. Hands-on experience with fuel cell stack OR component design and development.
