Job Description: Intro Paragraph Aviation faces an existential crisis due to its climate impact, with no apparent roadmap for meaningful carbon reduction, let alone meeting Paris Agreement emissions targets. That is where Universal Hydrogen (UH2) comes into play. Our company is working to create revolutionary technology supported by an end to end hydrogen value chain infrastructure that will allow hydrogen to be used all over the world as a means of decarbonizing the transportation industry. In order to do this we are looking to hire a Logistics Software Architect at Universal Hydrogen that has a passion for building the world's first hydrogen logistics platform to decarbonize aviation. You will play a crucial role in designing scalable and efficient system architecture for our complex logistics network. This translates into also ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics software systems during pilot/demonstration phases and beyond this into global roll-out. You will be responsible for architecting, developing with partners, and deploying our logistics software solutions to enhance our overall operational efficiency; which will extend into supplier evaluation and selection for third-party products, and managing/steering implementation. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring our logistics processes run seamlessly. About the Role Defining the systems architecture: Work closely with the Logistics operations, Engineering teams, and other relevant stakeholders to architect, customize and configure the system to digitally piece together our ground and airport hydrogen value chain. Define the make or buy strategy for each container of the logistics platform. Define logistics platform interface and associated data management rules. Contribute to the supplier selection process. Define a strong mitigation strategy to anticipate, manage and control hazards during Logistic platform implementation and serial phase. Lead the implementation and integration of the platform to ensure an operational demonstrator within 6 months and a full roll out within 12 months. Utilize Logistics data to generate reporting and analytics insights and reports that support decision-making processes. Project Management: Lead the end-to-end Logistics software implementation project, including planning, budgeting, risk management and mitigation, stakeholders coordination, resource allocation, and timeline management. Develop and deploy training material, platform quality assurance, procedures and precise documentation of the system. About You Led the development of logistics platforms involving the integration of multiple parts of a value chain: management of inventory, supply, and allocation according to customer demand as well as connection of all stakeholders involved in the supply chain. Demonstrated excellence in architecting IT/IS systems from conception to demonstration to full roll out in a very fast paced environment. Strong analytical capabilities with demonstrated autonomy in making complex decisions on the information systems architectures and data management. Strong ability to communicate and work with diverse teams from shop floor employees to executive level. Comfortable with 20% domestic and international travel.
