POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT Moss' Risk Analyst, Solar supports the Assistant Risk Manager by performing essential duties relating to corporate insurance, risk accounting, and general administration as required. The successful candidate will demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude and the desire to grow and learn with a leading construction firm. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coordination, enrollment, and analysis of Professional Liability and Subcontractor Default Insurance (SDI) programs Review subcontractor, professional services, and vendor agreements for insurance requirements and compliance. Follow up on any issues to ensure proper coverage is in place. Regular review and management of general liability, property, equipment, bond, and various insurance claims specific to solar operations. Track trends in claims activity. Regular review and analysis of asset damage and claims data. Identify risk areas and loss drivers. Provide recommendations on improving risk management procedures and reducing claims. Provide compliance support and ensure key compliance initiatives are operationalized. Research insurance products, carriers, coverage options and make recommendations on program structure and renewals Assist the risk team in implementing, designing and conducting tests of internal controls and provide findings to upper management. Prepare reports, loss runs, certificates of insurance and other documents as required Assist with insurance renewals, audits and the RFP process Participate in industry groups and conferences to stay current on solar construction risks and insurance trends Perform other duties and ad hoc assignments as assigned EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree in Risk Management, Accounting or Finance Preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills required Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Word Required JOB TITLE: RISK ANALYST, SOLAR JOB LOCATION: FORT LAUDERDALE, FL CLASSIFICATION: FULL TIME – EXEMPT – SALARIED REPORTS TO: ASSISTANT RISK MANAGER Moss is an equal opportunity employer.
