Job Description: Description: Job Summary: Revolution Solar is a rapidly growing solar panel installation company. We are currently seeking a quality Site Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior solar and/or roofing experience and will be responsible for evaluating clients' homes and providing detailed site surveys to our design engineers. The Site Survey Technician conducts site surveys for our residential and commercial solar projects. They are responsible for gathering all necessary information and documentation needed to design and install solar energy systems. The Site Survey Technician will work closely with the design and project management teams to ensure that all site surveys are conducted accurately and efficiently. Position Responsibilities: Evaluate client's homes to determine if they are suitability for solar panel installation Get into the attic to examine the roof structure and evaluate the existing electrical system Note any structural concerns or other issues that may affect the installation process Measure the pitch and other parameters of the roof Gather general electrical and construction information to provide to the design engineers Take numerous pictures of the site for documentation and design purposes Communicate with customers in a courteous and professional manner Conduct site surveys for residential and commercial solar projects, including measuring and documenting roof dimensions, electrical service details, and shading analysis Gather all necessary information and documentation needed to design and install solar energy systems, including utility and municipality requirements, building codes, and permitting Work closely with the design and project management teams to ensure that all site surveys are conducted accurately and efficiently and that all necessary information is documented and communicated Provide excellent customer service during site surveys, answering any questions and addressing any concerns that customers may have Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed during site surveys, including the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to OSHA standards Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the solar industry, and provide recommendations on how to incorporate them into the organization's site survey process.
